I am definitely going to miss all of my y2s2 classmates and I love them so much This semester pass by too quickly that I haven’t even had enough fun with them. Attachment starts at 12 of march and I am not able to see most of them during this 6 months

Why?

It is getting too boring here. Lately I am up to 9gag, lookbook and tumblr. Browsing pictures rather than words. Sometimes lying on bed spending hours thinking why can’t I be a little bit better. Just start to feel that I am drifting away even though I appear to be okay on the surface. Questioning about the past, friends and people around me. I hope time can rewind. I am tired of entering a new phase of life and guessing what lies ahead.

 

Fresh and Overdue

Good day peeps. Ever since Christmas I felt so restless and never wanted to do anything except roaming around the streets when I’m bored, otherwise, staying home. I am kind of happy when school finally starts, at least there’s something occupying my mind and I know what I could expect than aimlessly passing each day. Although… school just consist a routine of waking up early, hesitating whether I should attend or not, worrying for UTs and hating of long bus ride home.

Currently, I am looking forward to Chinese New Year because you never know how much I love family gatherings. And, I mean family gatherings. Maybe I like those gatherings more when I was younger, gradually when I am growing up, most of my relatives become foreign to me. I am still liking it now though not as much as when I was younger, that is probably the only occasion I get to see them.

Contradicting when some part of me wanting the festive season to arrive soon and on the other hand not. It also means that boyf is enlisting as soon as a week after Chinese New Year. It is really unfortunate to have UT period fall on a whole damn week when I already have not much time spent with him. We are not going to be parted forever but it will be difficult for me to handle when he is suddenly not by my side as often as before.

Ohyeah, really wanna upload piz from Korea but it takes at a speed of flowing lava to be uploaded. So I guess I will do it another time.

Feast

I don’t know how should I start this post,

 

since it’s all going to be about my trip.

 

The weather was -5 to -10 degree and back then I really thought it would be better for me to return back to Singapore. I still enjoyed the winter season, I didn’t expect how beautiful it is to spend it in Korea.

The crazy thing was, I am shivering almost everywhere I went but all I saw was many ice cream vendors were doing business. Y U SELL ICE CREAM?!

And the ultimate crazy thing was, we had ice cream almost everyday.

Then, I heard from my tour guide that they eat ice cream during to winter to keep themselves warm. Be it or not, we had ice cream because of craving….they had baskin robins there and it’s difficult to resist despite we were at our utmost freezing point, of course also out of curiosity. Honestly, I did not feel any difference but I did not feel any extra cold when having ice cream at the degree of negative.

Beside that, Korea has ALL the good food and snacks. Churros everywhere, hot chocolate, shabu shabu, korea BBQ, seafood hotpot and other heavenly tasty food.

Just thinking back when I was awake in my bed.

When we were young, my mom would lay out assorted gummies, crackers and snacks on the table for us to pick n’ mix in a small bowl before my dad hit the start button on the DVD player. Everything was settled down nicely for a family movie night in the hall. I remember how my mom pretended to be like a candy seller and we were scooping up the treats quickly and plopped  down on the couch to be ready for the screening.

There’s many more beautiful memories in the past but what sadden me is as when i grow up, the harsh reality told me that those were just fairy tales.

Hey there, December.

It’s finally December again. The chilly night that we wanted for after months of enduring under the sultry weather. Each time when those dark clouds engulf the previous clear blue sky, just snuggle up in bed and warm up your cold feet while listening when the rain lightly tapping from the sky.

Trip to Malaysia with my family and boyf!

Mom, sis and me spent almost $100 just on bookstore alone. I got myself the whole series of ”Diary Of Wimpy” kid and a baking book. I told mom that it’s pointless to get it since the kitchen is too small and barely could squeeze in an oven, but she wanted me to just get it…So  I thought I have her consent about getting an oven.

We had western for lunch and it’s really satisfying. The steak came completely raw on top of the burning hot stone.

Four of us also went to Plaza Sentosa for foot massage while waiting daddy to meet us after his meeting. Boyf opted for body massage, he definitely needs it. The massage was pain but it relieveed the sore so I supposed it worth.

Finally met my TS OHMYBABIES.

I miss ”09 especially. Wisma TS/TM was the first job that I gain so much from. The random people I met daily, the friends I made, the games we played during the TSTM chalet. Beautiful memories If wasn’t for the job, I wouldn’t have ended up having Eileen and Jonathan in my life! Sadly Ohmysugar is leaving us for army and I don’t even know when we can meet up for picnic that we promised since 09. Hahaha kind of a long plan, but hopefully we will make it happen soon! Not forgetting my bestfriend that we act like we are real sister all the time, I am so glad that after 6years we are still sticking with each other like….like…sticky sweet. HAHA.

Odyssey

It was the most fruitful and loving Wednesday yesterday. My class spent less than half an hour to finish the entire problem statement and we were being released early for break that’s why all of us ended up in Mcdonald’s!! Went back for lesson and faci started all the revision and prepared us for today’s UT. But sadly I don’t think I did it well. Anyway…

And there to celebrate Christina’s 20th at yew tee. Isaac sent us back to interchange and had a long cold ride back with Sihui. Pardon me for my split bangs. LOL.

Met with Yiting and Chiewping during break time last week and we were finding a decent place to fool around with the cam apps so we ended up in the toilet. It was good though, we were really laughing madly upon looking at those deleted photos because the shutter ran continuously for around 9 shots and we just conveniently changed the pattern of our mouth to make it like we did something new. Technically, we did.

The only stupid thing I will do is vent my frustration through splurging.

 

And there are just some things that actions can’t explain the anger let alone just words.
